Vladimir Naumov (UNIBS) and Eylül Gedik (RWTH) participated in the EU-SOLARIS 2nd Doctoral Colloquium and 1st Summer School, held in Almería, Spain, 2–6 June 2025. They presented their ongoing research to fellow Ph.D. candidates and senior researchers from leading European solar thermal research institutions.

Vladimir Naumov shared his work on “sCO₂ and CO₂ mixture cycles off-design operation in CSP plants,” while Eylül Gedik presented her research titled “Towards Flexible CSP Power Block.”

In addition to the colloquium, both researchers took part in the summer school dedicated to “Sustainable Water Management in CST Plants” and joined a site visit to the Plataforma Solar de Almería.

The event fostered rich discussions and valuable knowledge exchange, providing excellent opportunities for communication, dissemination, and networking within the European solar thermal community.
