The first workshop of the TOPCSP Project focusing on advanced materials and working fluids applied to CSP plants was organized and hosted by DLR on June 25, 2024, at DLR Jülich premises. The workshop was followed by the technical tour of Solar Tower Jülich and Synlight facilities.
The next day, the TOPCSP researchers attended the Cologne Solar Colloquium 2024, devoted to solar thermal energy for heat generation in various application areas and its role in producing sustainable fuels. As the highlight of the event, Synhelion’s recently inaugurated DAWN plant, the world’s first industrial-scale solar fuel plant, was visited.
