The doctoral candidates (DCs) hosted by Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) attended a site trip to the Manchasol II plant organized for the students of Solar Energy course offered by the university. María Asunción Palmero (DC10) and Vahid Safari (DC4) accompanied and supervised the students during the visit. The DCs of the TOPCSP project and the students visited the solar field, thermal energy storage system, steam generator, power block and the control room of Manchasol II plant. The site visit provided valuable insights for both our Ph.D. researchers and the students.

We would like to acknowledge María de los Reyes Rodríguez Sánchez (UC3M), COBRA and its welcoming staff for their guidance and support before and during the visit.
